Does your school need anyone to be trained in First Aid for Babies and Children?

 

 Guidance issued by DfES and OFSTED recommends that organisations caring for young children have first aiders trained on a 12 hr duration course with specific relevance to Babies and Children. There should be sufficient First Aiders so that at least one person who has a current FABC first aid certificate can be on the premises at all times when children are present. There also must be at least one person on outings/visits who has a First aid for Babies and Children certificate. Certificates must be renewed every 3 years.

 

The FANE FABC course has been specifically written by us to meet the needs of your school and your staff and approved by the National Awarding Body ASET- the course meets all of the requirements laid down by OFSTED.

Food Safety Update

In 2005/6 Enforcement Officers visited 365,356 premises in the UK- Almost 50% (160,158) were found to be in breach of some aspect of Food Safety Law!
